| WORK EXPERIENCE: |
- Sept.2001-ongoing: Researcher/Project Coordinator International Centre for Ethnic Studies (ICES), Colombo -Responsible for ICES Program on Constitutionalism. Program based on the South African Experience, focusing on public participation. Responsible for conducting consultations in all districts of the country. This entails consultation with a wide range of stake holders including government officials, non government organizations and the LTTE. Work also includes research and presenting working papers/briefings, coordinating all related organizational and logistical matters. Conducted consultations in the following districts: Galle, Kandy, Badulla, Hambantota, Monaragala, Colombo, Jaffna, Chilaw, and Bandarewalla. Part of research team that provides advisory services to the government on the constitutional dimensions of the peace process.
- Briefing papers on Judicial Accountability, Torture in custody, Law Delays, Religious Freedom, Freedom of Espression
- Provide content related and administrative support for other ICES Programmes
- May 2003 - 2006: Research support to the Chairperson, Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka
- Undertake research and prepare briefing papers for the Chairperson on specific issues. Most recent work includes briefing papers on the Death Penalty and Torture in Custody and work on the State of Human Rights Report for the year 2003/2004
- June 2004 –June 2005: Practicing law in the chambers of Senior Counsel, Dinal Phillips Esq, Attorney-At-Law
- Work includes preparing legal opinions and drafting written submissions. Special focus on Intellectual Property law.

- Jan. 2002-ongoing: Music Director, Asian International School, Colombo, Sri Lanka ( Responsible for selecting and co-ordinating all school musical activities and productions., choral director of the school choir.)
