A story of love, revolution, and betrayal, No More Tears Sister explores the price of truth in times of war, set during the violent ethnic conflict that had enveloped Sri Lanka over decades, the film beautifully renders the courages and violent life of renowned human rights activist Dr. Rajani Thiranagama. The film made by Canadian filmmaker Helene Klowdawsky recreates Thiranagama’s story as told through the voices of those who knew her. (60 minutes)
