• Book Launch on "Yasodaravata" by Ranjini Obeyesekere was held at The Library Services Board Auditorium, Independence Avenue Colombo 7 on Friday September 2nd from 4 - 6 p.m. Dr. Lakshmi De. Silve, Susil Sirivardena, and Parakrama Kodituwakku provided comments on the book.

• Book Launch on "Economic Reforms in Sri Lanka: Post-1977 Period" by Muttukrishna Sarvananthan was held at the ICES Auditorium on Monday, May 30, 2005 at 5.30 p.m. The Comments on the book were presented by Sirimal Abeyratne, Luxman Siriwardena.

• Book Launch on "Paradise Poisoned: Learning about Conflict, Terrorism and Development from Sri Lanka's Civil Wars" by John M. Richardson, Jr. was held at the ICES Auditorium on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at 6.00 p.m. The Comments on the book were presented by Bradman Weerakoon.

• Book Launch on "Peace Work : Women, Armed Conflict and Negotiation" by Radhika Coomaraswamy & Dilrukshi Fonseka was held at the ICES Auditorium on Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 5.30 p.m. The Comments on the book were presented by Neloufer de Mel.
